The Idea Generation is Kevin Farley, Paul Preston and Karen Volpe. This trio has been working together for over ten years. They have studied and performed improvisation all over the country.
Kevin, Paul and Karen began their careers at the famed Second City in Chicago, home of such greats as Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, and Kevin's brother Chris.

Paul and Karen have traveled their two-person comedy show all over the country and have been involved in corporate comedy for over a decade.
With years of improvisational education and experience, Kevin, Paul & Karen have led numerous team building workshops for a variety of clients, with a variety of positive results! Whatever outcome your business, faculty or group is looking for, team building can be a major benefit.
The Idea Generation bases it's workshops on the following Six Tune-Up Tools:
- Acceptance
- Diversity & Individuality
- Strong Point of View
- Even Playing Field
- Positive Reinforcement
- Change is Good
By working with so many kinds of people for so many years, The Idea Generation has been able to improve and perfect our workshops and shows for any audience. Participants in the workshops learn to trust their creative impulses, work effectively as a group, and boldly express themselves to remove the "inner critic" that blocks creativity. They learn to just play...and have fun while doing it! To set the stage for an exceptional workshop, The Idea Generation are trained experts in creating a safe, playful and supportive environment for all participants.
